Charlo claims he wants a unification fight vs Sadam Ali, then take on the winner of Hurd/Lara, which is supposed to be happening. Hopefully these fights all get made! I would pick Charlo over Ali, but Hurd vs Lara is 50/50 I think.

Another division that could be entertaining as hell if the top players starting signing fights with each other. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see Charlo's hand raised over them all. These Charlo's are nasty.

Yes I agree. I found it interesting that Jermell Charlo was crediting Spence for sparring with him and helping him develop more power in his punch. I don't remember how he worded it, but sounded like they had some great work together.

You had to know they were gonna be lining up to take on Sadam Ali. Nothing like a fighter with a close win over a faded old star to get the vultures attention

They always have been for a long time.
Lara fought Martirosyan twice, Alvarez, Trout, Angulo, Molina, and Punisher.
Molina fought Bundrage, Kirkland, Lara.
Bundrage fought Charlo and Molina.
Kirkland fought Alvarez, Molina, and Angulo.
Angulo fought Alvarez, Lara, and Kirkland.
Alvarez fought Golovkin, Cotto, Kirkland, Lara, Angulo, Mayweather, and Trout.
Trout fought Hurd, Charlo, Lara, Alvarez, and Cotto.
Jermall has fought J Rock, Trout, and Bundrage.
Cotto fought everybody. No need to elaborate.
Martirosyan fought Lara twice, Charlo, Andrade

The only light middleweights who haven't fought numerous world class opponents have been J Rock, Hurd, Jermell, and Andrade. Although, it remains to be seen whether J Rock even deserves to have his name mentioned in this company. His wins have not even measured-up to Kirkland's, Bundrage's, and Angulo's.

It is surprising how much power both Charlo's are now showing inside the ring. They apparently aren't even training in the same gym anymore so the skeptic in me was thinking that the power might be artificially acquired at first but I'll give the guys the benefit of the doubt. Both are knocking people out with glancing blows too...shots that you wouldn't think would be KO punches so i've just found something strange about their power.

None of the fights that you mention above other than Jrock and Jermall is the type of boxing "entertainment" that I'm referring to. Hurd, Charlo and Lara need to fight each other in some way or fashion this year. Hurd is clearly not as skilled as the other two but his size and chin will be tough for Charlo or Lara to get by in a 12 round fight.
