Who do you think Danny should have on board as sparring partners for his upcoming world title fight.

You might think I'm crazy but if I were Jim MacDonnell I would certainly be on the phone to recent Danny victim Augustin N'Gou.

Has the size and bulk of Vitali (which a "lighter" Danny must be able to handle) and also has a similar (albeit at a lower level) awkardness in his style as Vitali.

Henry Akinwande would be another one, but he hasn't the same bulk as Vitali and I fear he could effect Danny's concentation by making him look silly.

I know it would be impossible to get them in the same room but if he is seriouse about winning then maybe Audley Harrison. Audley is a tall fighter and has good movement (some may say better than Kilitschko in that department).

Lennox Lewis tried to get Jameel McCline for sparing that wouldn't be a bad idea ether.

I don't think Audley has the strength to compare with Klitchko, he seems to be remarkebly weak for a big man.

Also his movement is, like you said, better than Vitali's - so he is not that similar to him. Harrison would pose different problems than Vitali, who main assets are his power, strength and durability.

I think you are confusing power and strength. I do doubt his power but he dose seem to be strong. I know Negus (do your remember him) said that Harrisons strength had supprised him and had really taken it out of him.

I also remember Mark Krence being able to push Harrison back, Thomas Bonin also. I just think he struggles when up close and only seems to back his opponent up when he has the going with nice clean shot - he doesn't maul his opponent like Williams did Tyson or Skelton often does.

Negus is a small heavyweight who hasn't fought big opposition so may be a bit bias.

Providing they haven't all been scrapped, one of these babies will do a decent enough impersonation of Vitali.

good call, is Whittaker a sparring partner though? He may consider it beneath him with the way the division is right now. In that Vein, Jameel McCline would be suitable, again though, hardly likely to be looking for sparring work I would have thought seeing as he has a title shot.

Lewis offered McClien a small fortune to spar with him in the week befor Klischko and he turned it down. Partly I think cos he didn't want to get hurt too bad.
