The average ticket is £392.. Selling out 80,000 would give them a gate of around...
£31.36 million

How did you work out that average?
You’d need to strip the VAT out to show what’s left in the pot.

Average ticket prices. Of course, VAT etc. booking fees and all that i've not worked out. That's why I said around.

Stubhub will have all the £40 tickets within 30 seconds. I wonder how much fast Eddie gets in kickbacks from them.

Yeah I’ll be going if my missus can get me tickets again. Probably won’t spend more than £80 on them though.

You can’t really work out the average like that as there won’t be an even split of the pricing bands. i.e. there may well be 25,000 £40 tickets whilst there may only be 500 £2,000 tickets.

Yeah averaging won’t work properly unless you also know the allocation of tickets in each price band.

Yeh, you got a lot of other tickets in between as well. Call it very inaccurate. Regardless.. They're making a lot of money at the gate.

Here's my sad story chaps;
So obviously I'm going to have to watch this fight, and it will be big here for sure. So I figured on going to the local (think very remote country pub) sink some beersies and commiserate with the locals.
Then the bloody news last night says it's live here on Easter Flippin' Sundy ( sorry J-man) and pubs can only serve meals and drinkies.
And it's expensive on a public holiday to eat and be merry.
Bugger! I'll probably spend more than you lot buying tickets

People who have to work on a public holiday get paid double or a day in lieu so everywhere has a surcharge on every drink or whatever.
