The Belfast-born featherweight is hoping a win over former four-weight champion Donaire secures a world title shot for the summer with a date at Windsor Park, the home of Northern Irish football, pencilled in for this summer.

Frampton will either face the winner of IBF champion Lee Selby against Josh Warrington or could even get a crack at the victor between former foe Scott Quigg and WBO title holder Oscar Valdez, who meet on March 10.

“I spoke to Frânk Wârren and he wants to make this fight a final eliminator for the WBO. Quigg or Valdez, the winner of that potentially. Selby and Warrington can happen.

“These things are all in the future but there's only one guy on my mind at the minute and that is Nonito Donaire.

“I desperately want to win this fight because I can see the carrot of Windsor Park dangling in front of me.

“I'm going to do everything to make sure I'm ready to put in the performance of my career, which may be needed to win this fight.”

Won't really matter if it's an eliminator. If Carl wins he'll be fighting the Selby/Warrington winner for the IBF.

At Windsor.

I don't think we want to see the Quigg rematch just yet.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Quigg rematch if Quigg were to beat Valdez (which he's capable of) and Frampton were to pick up the IBF. Looking forward to seeing what happens at feather over the next year. It's shaping up to be a pretty exciting year as things stand.

Yeh, if Quigg wins then yeh. If they both have a title. A unification would be big,
