Breaking down the last 120 years into roughly 3 sets of 40 (1897-1937), (1938-1977), (1978 - today) pick your 6 best Heavyweights from each era.
Then, pick one light heavy/cruiserweight who fought at heavy, yet ranks higher at the lighter weight and add them.
To round it out, pick one fighter from any era.
If a fighter overlaps eras, put them in the era you think they were strongest.
Mine would be:
Early days: Jeffries, Johnson, Langford, Wills, Dempsey, Schmeling.
Middle: Louis, Marciano, Liston, Ali, Frazier, Foreman.
Most recent: Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, W. Klitschko.
Wildcards: Tunney, V. Klitschko.
