I was one of the few that gave Campbell a chance against Linares but I do think people are writing off Crolla too easily here.

I think it will be a close fight with Campbell having a slight edge.

Campbell should have too much - another payday for Crolla before likely retirement.

btw everone comparing cambell to crollas fights with linares but i thought crolla vs linares 1 was closer than linares vs campbell. linares only dominated crolla in fight two and maybe hed of done the same vs campbell

ppl started out thinking cambell was better than he was and i wonder if its returned a bit. this seems competitively matched to me

Agree re Crolla - 4-5 years ago I could never have seen him winning what he has and made it to the level he did - made the most of his talents and very well matched by his team.

Agree re Crolla - 4-5 years ago I could never have seen him winning what he has and made it to the level he did - made the most of his talents and very well matched by his team.

The turning point in his career was the unfortunate attack on him.
He became a marketable headliner overnight.
Allowed the big names and purses.
Great guy away from the ring aswell.

Still ridiculous that Flanagan-Crolla unification never happened.
Same city, same school one blue-one red.
Promoters ego’s got in the way.

Yeah if Hearn could have signed Terry he’d have marketed the fight to death in Manchester - but FW was never going to pay Crolla £500k plus he was getting around that time.

I think stylewise Campbell would be a tough match for Crolla at any point, but with their career trajectories in such marked contrast I see this as a clear one.

ya though even though the trajectories are different last fight crolla probably got a better win than then the 31 this year campbell has

Campbell would beat crolla. But as i say it wouldnt matter. Loma would destroy both and he will destroy linares too!

Think Campbell has a chance of fighting for the vacant WBC belt now that Mikey has vacated. Wonder if Hearn would rather do Campbell-Crolla for a WBA 'Regular' or put Campbell in for a genuine world title and risk losing this fight. Would quite like to see this fight but I'd also like to see Campbell back himself for a proper world title and then have this as his first defence.

Mendy deserves a title shot before crolla and campbell! Its all bollocks more hearn horseshite!
