How does Peterson win his fights

If anybody cares to hep me out here, wanted to see the boards opinion. A friend and I were having an arguement on how Lamont Peterson wins his fights overall. The listed options are:
Boxing- Uses angles, defense, etc
Power- His power hurts opponents or make them weary of going after him
Work rate- Lamont wears down opponents, grinds out wins, with overall output.
The answer to me seems obvious, but I just wanted to see everyone else's thoughts, in case I'm crazy here.

In the fights he does well in it's because of work rate usually. I've never seen him thoroughly outbox anybody (at least nobody of particular note), and he's not noted for his power punching although he's not a weak puncher necessarily.
His most noteworthy wins and performances have come when he fought at a busy pace.

he uses different approaches but the fights he actually wins hes more of an inside aggressive grinder, like vs khan or avesyan or jean. so id go with workrate.hes strong but not a big puncher and is more of a man handler vs the guys he beats
he 'boxes' mainly in fights he doesnt win:
when he drew with ortiz he boxed and moved after getting hurt and outpowered early.
when he lost to garcia he spent most time being elusive but then late on became aggressive
when mattyse kod him he tried to box and move but still got caught
he more than most guys can be a tale of two styles

I agree, I was telling him work rate. Not that this guy is Ouma, but work rate + grinding is how I ever saw him win. Agree that he is the tale of two styles as well. I just don't see how somebody thinks he wins via boxing. It was just really odd to me.

IMO a combination of boxing and work rate. He has never been known to have big power.

Never understood why he tries to box. As someone pointed out, he loses when he tries it. He's better with pressure and work-rate. Probably only top fighter he came close to outboxing was Danny Garcia, but Garcia has cement for feet. Some think he won those rounds off the back-foot, but I don't.

i cant recall a fight he won vs any one decent where he mainly boxed or even 50 percent boxed. usually if u see him boxing something hadnt gone his way.

Sustained body attack, pressure, good height, reach, power, and chin. He pretty much backs the opponent up to the ropes and then rips their body from all angles.
Also, I'm noticing that he doesn't have a lot of good, clear wins on his resume. He's got like a narrow win over Amir Khan, a narrow win over Felix Diaz... not really a lot of clear wins over world class fighters.
