Crowd violence marred a top event at Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan in Hauts-de-Seine, France on Saturday night as one of the contests was forced to be abandoned.
As the vacant International Boxing Organization super-lightweight title contest between Marvin Petit and Samir Kasmi reached the seventh round, there was no way the match could continue due to an eruption of shocking trouble involving supporters and some involved in the fight at ringside.
Petit, Kasmi and members of their respective teams fled the ring in fear as flying chairs and debris added to the punches and kicks being thrown.
Several people were hurt during the brawl, which is now being investigated by the French authorities.

except of Golota-Bowe i remember only 2 accidents at boxing/mma events during minor events in my country
though they were both related to football hooliganism

Measure the proportion of those two things. That's like "I'm surprised more people don't slit someone's throat in order to win a video game." People don't want to themselves sustain bodily harm, plus the harm of 50 others, just to witness a different outcome in an entertainment event.

Yes he was and yes it does.
Marvin Petit was way ahead in round seven when the Arab's supporters rioted. Petit should have been declared the winner, not "no contest".

Simply sounds like a typical Thursday night at the fabled Olympic Auditorium during its heyday.
Back in 1975, fans nearly burned down the then 50 year old arena after Frankie Duarte won a very close decision over crowd favorite Famosito Gomez.
I'll always remember television blow-by-blow announcer Jim Healy diving under a ringside table as the mayhem erupted.
"Goodnight...from....the Olympic" stuttered a shaky voiced Healy at the sudden end of the telecast while the sounds of maniacal screams, breaking bottles and thrown chairs filled the airwaves.
Ahhhhh. Good times.

if we talk about riots related to boxing, i also remember when i went out of arena after Glowacki vs Usyk i have seen some police and running people, and a Ukrainian guy with his face in blood was lying in a glass of destroyed bus stop and asked me in broken Polish what is the number to call police, but i think these were minor incident, i dont know what happened at all, possibly just drunk lads from both side brawled, there been a pretty big number of Ukrainians there, like 10% of the crowd i think

strange. turns out the ref actually counted out samir in round 7 and THEN his ppl rioted and result is now win for petit after frst being NC
some ppl are just violent anmals and want to hurt ppl if there side loses. i mean ive been dsapponted when my faves lose but never wanting to attack someone

It's a very logical step in avoiding the menace of Islamic terrorism that is sweeping parts of Europe right now. Plus there are many Muslims who are not terrorists who simply want to bleed the system dry by using our own freedoms over time to gradually undermine and conquer us. The good thing about the US is that we still have a high birthrate among Hispanics/Latinos that makes it harder for Muslims to conquer us DEMOGRAPHICALLY like they are doing to much of Europe.
A top Iman has told Muslims to use the migrant crisis to breed with European citizens and 'conquer their countries'.
Sheikh Muhammad Ayed gave the speech at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem claiming Europe was only welcoming refugees as a new source of labour.
He said Europe was facing a demographic disaster and urged Muslims to have children with westerners so they could 'trample them underfoot, Allah willing.'
Europe is playing with fire....
