Poland's Maciej Sulecki (26-0, 10 KOs) will face Vanes Martirosyan (36-3-1, 21 KOs) in a WBC 154-pound elimination bout, with the winner earning the right to challenge Jermell Charlo (30 -0, 15 KOs).

Sulecki recently defeated Germany's Jack Culcay by unanimous decision on Oct. 21 in Newark, New Jersey.

Martirosyan has not fought since a May 2016 loss to Erislandy Lara, so he does not really belong in an eliminator bout.

Likely the WBC put him in this spot as a favor to his promoter Don King, who just won a purse bid to promote Sulecki vs. Martirosyan.

so bad this fight is not gonna happen in Poland. in terms of competition level it could be one of the best fight held in Poland ever, after Usyk vs Glowacki, Vit vs Adamek, better than Wlodarczyk vs Gevor

i think it gonna be entertaining fight, but Sulecki wins, easier than vs Culcay

Funny you come out of a world title fight. Not fight in nearly 2 years and then come straight back into an eliminator. Strange WBC have had him ranked so high despite him not fighting.
