is this happening? johnsons a boring opponent for gguys like pulev but hes easily a good opponent for a 6 fight 20 year old whose never gone a full 2

he still has some upsets in him as he showed by stopping pianeta. could at least give doo bwah rounds unless dd puts in a smashing performance

disagree, johnson needs context. for a 6-0 20 year old whose never been past 2 hes good. way better than glass howe, glass carter, blown up mexican light heavys, and dorian darch.

even pianetta, who johnson stopped recently, is way better than those guys

I can't see any news of this fight, I assume its a "what if" thread. Johnson not the fighter he was and was stopped in 2 by AJ but cagey enough for someone inexperienced. The sort of fighters they should be sticking DD in with.

as much as a lot of ppl seem to believe it, im not sure dubois another joshua, and of course josh was already around 25 i think for johnson.

Would be a great test for Dubois.Johnsons chin is up there with the very best,hes been the distance with everyone including W l Vladimir.Joshua stopped him on his feet.

He would take Dubois into a long fight,okay he hasnt got much output but we would find out how Dubois holds up past the half way mark.Lovely jab on him aswell Johnson just a shame he doesnt let his hands go enough.

AJ still his only stoppage loss. He took two years off after that and looks decent in his four fights since, losing only to Pulev on points. Coming off a win against Pianetta so if Dubois does fight & beat him then I presume he'd be ranked top 20 with some of the Alphabet boys.

Makes you think... mad that Tyson was a 37-0 undisputed champ at 23 years old

Don't think this fight is happening but just made the post to get people views really want to see dubois step up and thought it would be a interesting match with Johnson he's been in with some good names and if dubois could win would push him along nicely

The kid needs rounds, as good as the quick wins look on his highlight reel those fights are not really teaching him anything. It’s a fight I’d like to see him in.

Daniel Dubois has recently been sparring Filip Hrgovic ... strong rumours are Hrgovic consistently got the better of the spars.

Dubois v Johnson is the right fight for Dubois ... he is young and has a lot to learn ... people shouldnt expect too much at this stage.

Good for Daniel to get work with Hrgovic who is a lot more experienced than his record suggests ! He has been Been sparring with the best in the business for the last five years and should have been Olympic champion

That's doesn't surprise me Hrgovic is a very experienced and skilled fighter, it'll be good practice for DDD.

To be honest, I’d fully expect Hrgovic to get the better of him. He’s going to be a world champion at some point imo. Maybe not the main man, but I can see him holding a world title for sure.
He’s the best of the 2016 Olympic group.

Actually an alright step up, depending on just how shot Johnson is at this point.
