yes and he was down and really hit with the best punches if i recall. seems he got it just for moving his hands and bouncing around more, but i felt fagan was more effective.

Looking forward to this on Sunday. Wee change having some live boxing on a Sunday. Some decent football on as well so it's a cracking sofa day
Murray will get stopped but he should have a right go and make it an entertaining fight.

I like and rate Joe, but being harsh: he’s never fulfilled his potential and it looks like his ship has sailed.
Ritson looks a talent. His strength and hunger will force a stoppage.
I do like Joes Cotton Eyed Joe entrances though.

Really liked the look of Ritson against Barrett, he cuts the ring off well and has a great punch variety, I think Murray will provide a stiffer test than Barrett did though, Murray's in good form, pulled out a worldy of a KO against Karrem in Denmark not too long ago and has only lost to Liam Walsh, this is a quality domestic dust up and I think it will go to the wire, I'm siding with Ritson to win it via decision

True - I remember talking to somebody who was a friend of a friend on John (who was doing well at that time) and they were saying how they had big hopes for Joe - proper World titles.
Unfortunately it hasn't worked out that way - and the conversation was nearly 10 years ago now !

Both had the potential.
I rated John highly throughout. A bit of luck and he could of easily been a world champion.
Crazy to think Joe went to the Olympics in 2008 and still hasn’t won a British come 2018.
Both good lads away from the ring aswell.

John could of done a lot better, his lifestyle out the ring defiantly cut it short and underachieved, joe Murray was at his best with joe g without doubt
