Olympic boxing could be over as the IOC remains dissatisfied with AIBA’s refereeing, judging, PED use prevention and money management.

Boxing would only have itself to blame, some of the events in the past have been embarrassing.

I'm not sure it'd be a bad thing. The amateurs should be for amateurs.

tbh i kind of thought it might not be all that bad either from a perspective of wanting a more interesting pro game. maybe guys dont hold out to try to fight in the olympics and therefore turn pro sooner and therefore develop more as pros.

The Olympics are about money these days just like most 'super' sports. You cant buy owt these days unless you have money in your pocket.

If its not money its doping, so the Olympics could vanish for all I care.

AIBA is ruining top level amateur boxing.
The levels of corruption and incompetence flow from top to bottom.
Be a huge impact on British Boxers. The schooling they get at Sheffield is second to none. That will vanish without the lottery funding.

AIBA had better sort themselves out, stat, or both the amateur and professional games will suffer horribly for it.

go watch some of his stuff from the euros and worlds. its like a different guy in looks (im guessing about 30 pounds lighter?) and also boxing. hes come along way in many regards!

tbh boxing in the euros like two years after you had your first amateur fight is unreal. clearly a gifted boy whether hes on stuff or not.

For all he gets called the a weight lifter, I've never seen training footage of him doing the kind of heavy lifting that'd build all that muscle.

Good nutrition I guess.

Have you seen much footage of him sparring? Do you think he does any?
Have you seen much footage of him eating? Do you think he eats?
Have you seen much footage of him sleeping.....?

The only training footage I have seen is the little montage of him doing single leg squat jumps and slamming the ball. I realise that you want to hint at PEDs and I have nothing to say either way really, other than the reason you suspect being you haven't seen him lifting isn't much of an argument.

There's also footage of him eating on IFL TV
What kind of boxer posts footage of him sleeping

There's only so much training a natural person can do, and recover from. The more weighted jumps you do, the less squatting you can do etc. and boxers already have to do a lot of cardio work, sparring, pad work etc. (which all also takes it's toll on you). It's not like this is the only suspect thing either.

He has shown the ability to put on more muscle than the most genetically gifted and high achieving natural bodybuilders on the planet who work on nothing but trying to increase muscle mass and who work with the latest evidence based nutritional and training protocols from the leading minds on the planets. I have no idea why this does not seem possible, oh and also while he does extensive conditioning work.

I know how a boxer trains thanks.
By trying to make your point you’ve proven mine, there’s very little of Joshua’s training to watch online, including sparring, lifting, eating etc.
I don’t have a problem with you accusing him of using PEDs, I just think that saying he can’t train naturally because you’ve never seen him lifting is a foolish argument. I’ve never seen him pooping but that doesn’t mean it never happens.

I'm not even saying his training is bad, it just wouldn't build that kind of muscle in that time, and there's actually a decent amount of footage of it.
