I would say
Young pro: 5

World champ : 3

If there a ticket seller I’d say 4/5 a year tops - British Champ 3 times

Young pros sometimes fight around 10 times a year.
I think it depends on how fast you're tracked. I think world champions fighting twice a year isn't that good. 3 is better. But I guess some make enough money. Canelo always says he'll fight 3 times but ends up hurting his thumb or something.

Personally I think 3 should be the absolute minimum (assuming no injury problems obviously). Hate it when boxers only fight once or twice a year, I genuinely think it’s detrimental.

I agree. I miss champions who defended there belts 3 or 4 times a year.
But hell I'm old.

I've always been surprised they don't fight far more often, but I guess that's just me.
