ON A previous thread, i made a comment about the importance of padwork , i said how a fighter should use it to maximize feet and punch movement ,,
The is a trend towards fighters using padmen who hold there hands wide wear body pads and don,t move , This looks good and makes tbe boxer think he,s hitting hard , but in reality jit doess Nothing , the fiighter may as well be on the heavy bag
Padwork used correctly with a padman moving , making the boxer find his own distance , and conti ually changing distance is what works ,
We juzt seen Eubank fignting like he,was on the pads and Continually missing , when George moved ,, It was because he has not been trained to punch and move feet , its one or the other ,, EUBANK REALLY has to go get himself a trainer , he has the chin , he has the heart , he has the conditioning , he just needs to get rid of his father and the yes men and learn to use his feet, and how to handle a moving boxer , or padman
