WILDER EXPOSED

Deontay Wilder has a suspect chin.
He also finds it difficult to recover from an onslaught
His Punching power is Genuine.
But against Joshua and More so Parker he will lose.
Ortiz has not had a great lead up in term of quality opposition but still managed to rock Wilder on at least 3 or 4 occasions and he is nearing 39.
PARKER will KO Wilder and so will JOSHUA.
Let's see if Wilder gives Ortiz a rematch?
That's a fight J want to see.

wilder would f@cking thrash parker
if wilder was exposed knocking out ortiz, what was parker getting lucky majority decisions and never coming close to hurting ruiz and hughie?

Credit to Wilder for taking the fight and answering a few questions. Ortiz’s age and inactivity preventing him capturing the title, was one punch away and should be proud about his performance.
The cards were a joke. I had Ortiz up by 2/3 points. But, this result was the right result for the division and sport.
I can’t wait for the next two HW fights.

Since I had to exact same score as the judges, I certainly don't think there scores were a joke.

what was your rbr breakdown?
tbh i did feel ortiz was slightly ahead. maybe 5-4 wilder if you give wilder every benefit of the doubt
bit surprised they ALL had it that way though. i thought he was losing to washington too before the ko and actually none of the judges had him down and one had him pitching a shutout
the beauty of the bronze bomber is that he makes these scoring discussions much less relevant

Wilder has a good eraser because of his power, but this isn't the first time he got outboxed. Szpilka was outboxing him before getting KO'd and so was old man Ortiz.
This fight didn't really expose Wilder, and I do think Joshua and Parker both UD him.

i thought his fight with szpilka was pretty much even (77-76 wilder),, but then the judges had it like 6-2. so ya deontay certainly often gets the best case scenario treatment
but as said, he takes it out of consideration. boxing needs more power like that

haha. you mean parker, the guy who barely beat that 5'9 270 lb fat burrito Andy Ruiz. That dude is a joke and wouldn't crack the top 20 in any other era of heavyweight boxing.

Ruiz and Huey are better than anything Wilder has done. Takam is better than anything on Wilder's resume pre-Ortiz.

Do you seriously think Duahupus or Stiverne (either are probably Wilder's best win) are better than Ruiz Jr. and Fury? You're on something if you think that.

i had it 86-84 Wilder
Wilders too skinny, for Joshua should weight +100kg

Huggie Fury definitely beats Wilder since he is practically impossible to hit.
Parker maybe if his chin is able to take Wilders right hand.
Joshua would get knocked out

He recovered well last night.

Yup
But against Joshua and More so Parker he will lose.
Not guaranteed. Different styles..

True, but Ortiz has a lot of experience in the game
PARKER will KO Wilder and so will JOSHUA.
Any heavyweight can knock out another. Don't be surprised if Parker drops Joshua
Let's see if Wilder gives Ortiz a rematch?
Doesn't need to.. He knocked him out.
That's a fight J want to see.
That didn't make any sense.

Wilder's chin isn't glass, Wilder was able to take Ortiz's shots, if he had a glass jaw, he would have been dropped after the 1st good punch in the 7th round.
However, Wilder depends on his size and KO power too much. He lacks technique, he can't box against a really skilled fighter. So, he is exposed in some sense, yes. Only imagine, what could have been, if he defended not against Molina, Duhaupas or Arreola, but against Klitschko, Povetkin or Joshua.

He couldn't box against a C-level skilled fighter like Spzilka, though. Ortiz also isn't a monstrous puncher like he was made out to be. He has power, but he couldn't get Malik Scott out of there early, and he didn't immediately KO Jennings. Wilder has an average chin. The first punch Ortiz managed to land close to square buzzed Wilder. Wilder also got buzzed by Molina.
I'd say Wilder's chin is below average, but his heart is good.
Wilder has already been exposed as an incomplete fighter that only has a trinket because the division is currently horrific.

Ortiz is probably a top 5 heavyweight. Very good win for Wilder. Ortiz may have been able to finish the fight if he didnt expend so much energy in Rd 7 going for the kill. But the judges wouldve just robbed him anyway.

The main difference between the Showtime scorecard and the real judges' cards was that Showtime
gave ALL the first 4 rounds to Ortiz while the judges gave some to Wilder. Given the lack of activity in those first 4, it's not hard to score some of them for Wilder.

Ortiz is the only guy to stop Jennings and he demolished him in impressive fashion.
