Where Should Joshua v Wilder Be Held?

In your opinion?

90k at Wembley?

80k in Cardiff under the safety of a roof?

20k in Vegas?

Madison Square Garden?

Personally I think they should have it in Gainesville which has a stadium that holds 90k & is only a 2 hour drive from Orlando so loads of British could come over.

lol at it doing anywhere near 90k in the us

i mean with it able to do around 90k in the uk why not there? are us site fees really that much when neither guy is big there? would any boost aj gets in american profile vs a non star really be worth a loss of uk money?

It will be held where it makes most money for both fighters.

My guess is cardiff late in the year under the roof.

I don't see how doing in the states would make the money. It would kill alot of the UK PPV if early hours in the morning.

Joshua is the A-side and the AA-side.

I like Wilder but the American heavyweight scene is nothing like the renaissance period of the 70's to 90's.

I forecast this is a Wembley gig.

Joshua isnt a star.
He's the biggest name in UK or European Boxing... He's big in the US... A Hell of a lot of American boxing fans know about Joshua and consider him the best Heavyweight... Wilder already said he would fight in England.....where the money is.

It wasn't so great when Ali was fighting guys like Alfredo Evangelista, Mac Foster, and Joe Bugner... Terrible!!!

It'll be over here, probably Wembley, with a late as fukk start time to maximise PPV/TV revenue in the States.

They surely won’t do 3 UK fights in a row for Joshua in Cardiff. My guess is, assuming AJ beats Parker, they’ll do it at Wembley in the summer.

Wouldn't be surprised if Hearn tries to draw the Wilder fight right out and milk the cash cow til it's nearly dry before agreeing to Wilder. Fingers crossed it happens next though. Absolutely no reason for it not to happen next.

The British press were claiming that Joshua/Klitschko made around £40-50m

I just don't see either Joshua or Wilder being well known enough for either a Casino to spend massive money hosting it or for a massive demand on PPV so surely the money is making it this summer at Wembley?

I think Joshua is very keen to fight in Vegas, which is why Hearn is trying to push either Joshua vs Miller in NYC first or a two-fight deal with Wilder. The problem with a two-fight deal is, if one is just totally out-classed and gets demolished how do you sell the second fight?

In interviews he doesn't sound like he cares about fighting in the states at all. Says openly he'd rather fight at Wembley every single time that 10k in vegas. I think it's more earn trying to break the American market

Agreed. I know some have picked Wilder to win but I honestly think Joshua could just flatten him inside two or three rounds. If that happens then attention turns to Fury regardless of the condition he's in, or a year/18 months when he fights the likes of Povetkin, Ortiz, Pulev. Who knows how the land will lie in two years; a fight with someone like Dubois might be massive.

The problem for AJ is everyone in America sees Fury as the lineal champ, as this months The Ring magazine front cover proves.

The most sensible venue would be a stadium in London. However, if I was to put money on the venue I would be very inclined to go with the T-mobile arena in Vegas.

'Someone in America' doesn't equal everyone you absolute mess.

'Most' people in America have never heard of Fury and those who watched the fight with Wlad are now probably utterly committed MMA fans.
