Over Kevin Kelley, because it was a fight, where he had met a really decent guy, so he had faced a solid counteraction and managed to win. Furthermore, the fight was very entertaining.

What was his best KO win?

Over Said Lawal. It was more of a TKO, as Lawal got up, but all the action was caused by spectacular punch in the very beginning.

Regardless of win/loss.. Who was his best opponent?

With no doubt it was Marco Antonio Barrera. Hamed's only elite-level opponent actually.

Probably the Kelley fight.........lots of swagger/finesse that night and he was a Brit out of water at the MSG against a quality opponent. The MSG is not a happy place for most UK fighters in real title fights. He also cracked Johnson in fine style too.

Ingle who was a hard, hard man physically and mentally went for Hamed and had the backbone to survive and not allow Naz to take the piss with his tricks and skills.....I think that fight deserves a mention and Ingle went on to win a title.

obviously barrera was his best opponent and he was beaten handily. i had it 9-3 (barring the deduction in a round mab otherwise won huge) and barrera won his rounds way way bigger

lots of decent names on nazs record but none who really standout to me aside from the guy who beat him

kelly was a real fun fight, naz getting bounced off the canvas put still pulling it out with a nice knockout

Best win for me was Manuel Medina. Medina was a handful for any featherweight at that time and Hamed was actually suffering from a bad chest infection in that fight. He struggled but won handily.

Best opponent: The Baby Faced Assassin.

Kevin Kelley. Maybe not defining. He was pretty much defined before that fight

Said Lawal. If I bought a ticket to that fight, I'd be pissed

Marco Antonio Barrera.

I think his best performance was against Robinson. The Welshman had been champ for almost two and a half years and held victories over some high calibre challengers but Hamed made him look like a novice.
Vazquez had been an excellent champion but was way past his best when Naseem fought him.
The Kelley fight was terrific entertainment but technically speaking Hamed's defence left a lot to be desired.
The quality of the victory over Ingle was only truly emphasised when Paul went on to become an established world champion with wins over Manuel Medina and Junior Jones. I was at that fight and will never forget the buzz in the arena during Tommy Hearns' ringwalk. The Hitman's win over Nate Miller wasn't exactly action-packed but I didn't care one bit about that. It was Tommy Hearns!

Glad someone else picked-up on the Ingle fight.

It was a good contest........with a prime Hamed forced to work hard and keep the showboating low key.
The fact that Paul went on to do so well shortly afterwards does demonstrate that Naz was on his game.

Ingle was a cracking little fighter with some top names on his ledger and it is a bloody shame it ended so badly for him.

He was never better than the night he beat Steve Robinson. That was a masterful performance by a young hungry fighter but his behaviour was a little disrespectful to what was an underrated champion and a decent fella.

The Ingle fight was a cracker. Ingle was fun to watch too, real shame how things turned out.

The Kelley fight was entertaining but Naz was already on the slide by then believing that he only needed the big shot to win.

Barrera was clearly his best opponent by some distance in hindsight.

Hamed was hot and cold. Some thrilling wins and performances and a LOT of stinkers and sloppy performances in there probably due to him falling in love with his power and cutting corners.

His best win is slim pickings as nothing really stands out but there's a number of solid wins. Medina, who probably gave him more issues than he should have, Vazquez, who was ancient. Kelley was good and that was a war but I'd probably say Johnson since he had reigned for a while and had some good wins of his own. Hamed destroyed him. Vuyuni Bungu is probably the best fighter he ever beat and he looked excellent in that fight by Bungu was at a size and age disadvantage enough that I probably give the edge to the Johnson win.

The Augie Sanchez KO was chilling. That stands out as his most eye catching KO.

Of course Barrera was the best he met.

I agree. That IBHOF class he was inducted in I don't think he, Mancini or Bowe deserved induction and I like Mancini a lot.

Agree with you about Hamed and Mancini; disagree about Bowe. I liked Mancini a lot as well. Great guy.

Why would Bowe be deserving of the HOF?

The Kevin Kelley fight had it all for me. A Brit coming over to take America. The Adidas advert - superb - has any boxer had an advert like that since? The ring walk. Then the drama of the fight itself, up and down, back and forth. Poor FW nearly having a heart attack watching.

The ingle fight probably was his best for me. Two great fingers going at it with Paul on him all the time refusing to lose. Whilst it showed Naz could be beat it showed that Naz had heart and a will to win as he had to do something different to win that fight.

I think his best performance was Badillo, no arsing about and a conventional boxing performance where he looked pretty untouchable.

Obviously him starching Kelly, Johnson, Vazquez, Bungo etc at a higher level is more impressive but he looked better beating Badillo.

His best KO was probably one of the last ones of his on ITV before he moved to SKY. I think the dude at Shepton Mallet or somewhere like that. Dropped him with a great combo and finished it with one punch, the guy looked dead.

Well, he has one of the 4 or 5 best Heavyweight resumes of the last 30 years. Was clearly one of the 4 or 5 most talented as well. Seems pretty deserving to me.

Lennox is definitely more accomplished. I'd probably only favor Ali against the bowe from the first holy fight

Resume depth is a big factor in ranking people and it seems pretty ridiculous to simply take a fighter with a great win but little else on their resume over guys who have far greater depth of wins. Bowe has 3 wins over elite opponents (fewer than Vitali Klitschko).

There is also the issue of the Golota fights.

Vitali has zero. Bowe would have a lot if you're including the scrubs vitali beat.
