The World Boxing Association (WBA) Championships Committee ordered the start of negotiations between Belarussian Kyril Relikh, current champion at 130 pounds, and Russian Eduard Troyanovsky, placed 3rd best of the Super Lightweight ranking.
The resolution is issued pursuant to Championship Rule C-12 of the WBA Rules, which indicates that a boxer who obtained the title in an Elimination Fight for a vacant title other than the Heavyweight division, must make his first defense in a period of 120 days.
Both parties were duly notified and given a period of 30 days to reach an agreement, otherwise the fight will be called to a purse bid.

Troyanovsky will need a KO to win this one. Relikh puts so much pressure.

Relikh won fair and square. He dictated the pace, landed more clean hard shots. But he was often pressuring without punches and didn't throw jabs much enough. Troyanovsky had a bad strategy of waiting for Relikh's actions, doing nothing. Troyanovsky's cornermen were shouting him to use jab more, to move more. The thing was, Relikh knew Russian too, but still Troyanovsky should have worked that way. Troyanovsky became more mobile and began to throw more jabs only in the second half of the fight, yet he wasn't scoring enough good stuff.

Yeh. I scored in his favour against Burns. I think one of the cards if not all where too wide.
