Matthyse, definitely. His position should be No. 5. (No. 7 in the worst case).

I still want to see him fight a decent opponent at 147.

Egidijus Kavaliauskas, I'd say. Stopped Avenysan who had a close one with Peterson.

I hope your not right Mexi. Having to discuss his fights and trying to spell that brain scrambling name will do my head in!

Surprised Carlos Adames is in the top 10 with his win over clearly washed up Carlos Molina. Ava is a better win than that.

I have to think that Lucas Matthysse might be. Matthysse beat Provodnikov and flattened Peterson. Peterson beat Avanesyan, Khan, Diaz, etc. All that matters is whether Lucas is still near his prime and whether he can perform at WW nearly as good as he did at LWW.

Jamal James is tall is f*ck. It's possible that he has improved passed his loss to Ugas. His win over Chaves is good, although Chaves has failed to do anything to corroborate that his draw with Bradley wasn't a fluke.

Maybe I'm being a little premature, but I think Josh Kelly could beat a couple of those top #10 guys right now, mainly due to stylistic clashes. This time next year definitely #10 material.

Some experienced and some untested and some heavy prospects in that top 10..

Scratching my head that Kavaliauskas isn't in but Adames and Vargas are. Rather insane imo. Adames barely beat Barrera who got roflstomped by Spence Jr.

Ugas comes to mind. I don't think he has proven himself IMO. Lot of hype surrounding him, I'll wait and see...

I got Lamont Peterson at #9 on my list personally.

Egidijus Kavaliauskas is #11 for me so both are honorable mentions.

I don't think Ugas is getting all that much hype really. He's building his reputation the hard way. By beating guys consistently.

really? i dont notice much hype and id say hes actually made a good case for himself, certainly much more then kelly has. carlos molina is basically a journeyman now who prospects beat, and others have done a better job on him then kelly did. kelly beat like no one else

ugas beat dulorme, unbeaten jamal james, unbeaten perella, gvachimama, robinson, etc. pretty good mix of fringe contenders and prospects. boxrec has him at #12 and kelly at #22
