We can agree and also have the confirmation that Verdejo was a hypejob as well as Imam but what about with Gvozdyk who supposed to demolish that guy ??

It's never really surprising when fighters don't live up to their clippings.

Most boxers are 25% real talent and 75% hyperbole.

It's up to fans to realize that and take the inevitable promotional hype with a grain or two of salt.

I thought Imam gave a decent enough account of himself. I didn't think he was as tough as that tbh. Far too easy to hit though. That shoulder roll crap does nothing for him.

That shoulder roll did more damages to him. Boxers should learn ol' boxing fundamentals.

Gvozdyk is IMO not a destroyer or whatever people trying to say about him. Just good boxer with excelent fundamentals who can punch. If KO comes it comes. Anyway, i was expecting more from him too :box: :box: :box:

Gvozdyk's opponent was very tough, and has never been KO'd (his 1 TKO loss was an injury) so I don't think that fight should diminish Gvozdyk's standing.

I'd like to see Gvozdyk/Alvarez since Stevenson/Alvarez is obviously never happening.

Yup. I had higher expectations from Gvozdyk too. Probably a stoppage.

Word from Verdejo's team was there were problems around his rehydration. Of course they are going to make excuses for what was a lacklustre performance.
I'm willing to accept he had an off night, and given what I have seen from this guy in the past, I don't think he was exposed.
How his team decide to come back from this is anyone's guess.
Blob Arum want to throw him to the wolves.
I say; put him in with a tough fight straight off, let him prove either way if he deserves his reputation for power and skills.
