Would you lump on Johua at 1 / 12

Most bookies have AJ 1/12 to beat Parker.
Are there any gamblers out there who will lump on Joshua at that price ?

If you've got the 12, you don't need the 1...

He's 1/8 with Sky Bet, William Hill, BetFair, Bet Fred and Bet Victor.

So I'd not be taking any of those prices as I barely gamble and 1/8 isn't a working man's price.

But, I'm surprised he's that long. I honestly think it's more like a 1/33 no hoper shot. I honestly think they could fight a hundred times and Parker would be lucky to win once.

Not worth it although the chances of Parker winning are slim.

Joshua will likely beat Parker by stoppage. I'd rather gamble a 1ner that Joshua takes Parker out 1-6.

Yes. Exactly why putting a small bet on Parker at good odds makes more sense than large bets on AJ at tiny odds. Anything can happen in HW.

If you've got twelve you don't need the one.

The most sensible and profound answer.

Too right mimmy :TU:

Awful price.

Only betting worth money most fights these days is exact type of win, KO in end ..... Points etc

The best bet I’ve seen was Lewis Ritson to beat Barrett they had Barrett the favourite at 4/6 Ritson was 6/4 I couldn’t believe my eyes !

Seemed about right considering Ritson was pretty much unknown and never had fought anybody. While Barrett was coming off a big win vs Cardle.

id rather lump on something like 2/5 for tank davis to beat a career b level 126 pounder who hasnt won in 3 years or fought in 2. its been set up to get him a belt again.

who really thinks davis is losing that? id be very surprised and youd make almost 4x you would putting the same on aj

Groves was 12/8 to beat Eubank, that was crazy!

Erkan Teper was something like 4/1 to KO David Price. Christian Hammer was similarly priced. Sometimes in boxing the bookies get it horrendously wrong. I don’t think AJ - Parker is one of those times tho.

You can get 33/5 for a Parker win !!

Didn’t think the odds would be as wide as 1/12 for AJ and 33/5 for Parker. bookies gave Charles Martin a better chance only offering 4/1 on him winning ...: and he was awful

Yes but against a still unproven AJ, incomparable to the version we have now who we saw outlast and out-tough Wlad.

AJ unproven? Maybe , although he had won Olympic gold and absolutely destroyed every opponent in the pro ranks up to that point.
Martin had beaten absolutely nobody and looked awful in doing so. He then won a world title because Glazkovs knee buckled. Just by watching their previous fights it was clear Martin was way way way out of his depth.

Any doubts I had about Martin being absolute shite were alliviated when literally the day after he won the title AJs promoter , Eddie Hearn, offered Martin $5m to fight AJ. That’s double what Wilder has ever earnt.

Martin sold out straight away and came to UK as a knock over job with a belt for $5m. $5m- that’s double what Wilder has ever made

Regardless I’d give Parker a better chance of beating Joshua than I did Martin

I wanted to put 1000s on it, Mrs was having none of it, that really was free money, just like Floyd Mcgegor, it's people who know fcuk al about the sport backing the guy they have seen on TV and instergram which distorts the price, great when it happens.
