Wilder says that Kownacki is considered as one of his next opponents

said if not Joshua or Whyte, he will possibly fight Kownacki. he also said that ''this fight will happen anyway''
everyone thinks of Wilder that after Ortiz fight he made a step up and will fight only top of the top, belt holders, but i will be not surprised if he is back to fighting Szpilkas, Molinas, Arreolas

If this is true, and he does go into the ring and fight a fair fight, I'll have to give him credits again.
I think Whyte and Kownacki are quite equal.

The division sucks so unless Wilder gets another belt holder than pretty much anyone is acceptable now that he's finally fought a top contender in Ortiz. The divisions thinness isn't his fault.
Kownacki gets hit so much so easily it should make for a spectacular Wilder showcase.

Oh definitely! I love watching Wilder no matter who he fights. He's a once in a generation puncher.

It would be fun while it lasts.

I agree, but I cannot see any scenario where it lasts more than two rounds.

I feel the same way. Late 1st or early 2nd round brutal knock out

I'm a bit disappointed that Pulev has done nothing. Guy should be setting himself in line to fight for a title, but he's happily fighting crap opponents. Guy schooled Chisora who beat Whyte.

My man Pulev doesn't fight enough. It's almost a year since his last fight. Why?
I think Kownacki could pull a big upset! Compare the way he defeated Szpilka with Wilder. Szpilka was beating Wilder prior to the knockout; Kow demolished him, in the process setting the record for most punches landing in one round in a heavyweight fight!

Nah, Kownacki is made-to-order for Wilder. Kownacki will get the Duhaupus treatment because he does seem to be durable. Pulev has been getting criminally underrated because he's not fighting.

Talking outside of the top few, Kownacki is as good as anyone.
We don't exactly have murderers row in the HWs at the moment

i think hes pants, although the bronze bomber more then earned an easier opponent so i dont care from that perspective, but nonsense to me that kownackis as good as anyone but the elite few
go watch his fight with mediocre cruiser iago kiladze who got annihilated in 2 by youri kalenga and never beat anyone, he got busted up and spent the night in a hospital bed
hes slow and plodding, has no skill, and hes a fatty who eates punches like he eats fast food. he also looked a good 2 inches shorter then the 6'3 listed kiladze. hes getting seriously overrated for beating a guy who was coming off a f@cking devestating ko loss,
i think deontay fried szpilkas brain

I agree Szpilka seemed a lot worse boxer recently, despite his body looks good.

I don't really think Kownacki is on the level of Whyte. A win over Szpilka and nothing more is not enough evidence for me. Kownacki is in the position to eventually be a good scalp if he beat someone like Breazeale, Martin, Hammer, Kabayel, Ruiz, or Hughie (but he might lose those fights).

Honestly who has Whyte beaten to make him this boogeyman everyone acts like he is?
A doughboy in Browne?
A very disputable win over Chisora?

I haven't seen much of him but Kownacki seems to be vastly overrated on the back of 1 decent win against Szpilka who had been out of the ring for 18 months and wasn't really that good anyway. From what I've seen, Wilder would beat him easily.

Well, on a 2nd thought maybe Whyte is indeed better, but it would certainly be a nice match in my opinion. It will be worth watching in my opinion, unlike any other Wilder fight except for Ortiz.

Why hasn't Pulev been fighting more often? Soon it will be a year since his last fight. What if other sports teams and sportsmen only fought once a year?
The Yankees annual baseball game is coming up next month...

I don't much rate Kownacki. He looks soft and flabby and his only got one decent win which was over Szpilka who didn't look the same fighter after being annihilated by Wilder. Miller is a tougher test and so are Dom Breazeale or Dillian Whyte.
Why he isn't interested in fighting Whyte in London for massive exposure, twice his career second best payday, and a comfortable win that would have UK fans clamouring for a Wilder v Joshua fight, I cannot imagine, I can't believe he's worried about facing Dillian. If anyone is thinking of replying that Hearn was trying to muscle-in on Wilder and get a piece of him either back it up or don't bother. If that were true Wilder and his people would be hollering about it ever since.
I don't begrudge Wilder an easy one after seeing off a genuine contender in Ortiz though.
One thing I will say for Kownacki is he will come to fight. I don't think he is likely to pose too many questions to Deontay but I'll watch it.
