Is it now illegal to fight in close quarters?
Every time Parker got close and starts fighting the damn hoot get's it's claws between them.
You can now KO a gay punching in the balls(Ward) and fight at your own convenient distance with the help of a balles referee.
In my opinion Parker would have beaten Joshua if he were infact allowed to fight.
Joshua was so uncomfortable in there when the fighting got started. But your not allowed to..... engage.... in boxing?
Could have been a good fight!

The ref reffed like all he was interested in was showing his grandkids the video of the fight. Look how active grandpa is.

One of the worst reffing jobs I have ever seen. Add to his total incompetence the fact that the Italian ref COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!

Referee Giuseppe Quartarone is taking criticism for the work he did as the third man in the ring before and during Saturday’s world heavyweight championship unification bout in which Anthony Joshua scored a decisive victory over Joseph Parker.
“When the ref came to the back, he couldn’t speak English,” Parker said. “Kev was trying to talk to him and ask him questions about how he was going to control the fight.”
Parker’s trainer Kevin Barry stated, “Obviously when one guy’s got a 76-inch reach and the other guy’s got 84-85, it’s very important to us when we do close the distance that we’re able to work. Unfortunately for us the referee just didn’t allow us to do that.
“I tried to speak to him when he came down the back and he had no idea or understanding of the question I asked him.

WWE would be a step up for that clown!!

That ref is what happens when Adelaide Byrd and Kenny Bayliss mate without protection.
