Huck Box Promotion and Petko´s Box Promotion join forces for a show in Munich on June 16.

Topping the bill is former cruiserweight king Marco Huck - now back at heavyweight. Huck fought Alexander Povetkin for the WBA standard heavyweight title in 2012, but lost a close call to a champ who was obviously not in the best condition.

Huck (40-5-1, 27 KOs) then returned to cruiserweight and was last seen losing to Oleksandr Usyk in the World Boxing Super Series Tournament in September of last year.

I'll say the CW is a much tougher division than HW.. But Huck has been around for a while.. I would like to see a rematch Huck and Povetkin.. I think Huck won their first encounter..

Thing with HW division today, Huck could easily beat Charr or Oquendo and become Regular champion.

..I don't know, Huck's been on the decline for some time losing 3 out of 5 last fights, wouldn't give him much of a chance as a HW contender..

Won't happen. That's a high risk/low reward fight for Povetkin. What does the Russian gain with an additional win over Huck?

Huck needs to prove he can consistently win at the Heavyweight level. A Marco Huck vs David Price fight would garner some interest, no? Price said that he's moving forward with his boxing career after the recent Povetkin loss.

I hear you. And I'm backtracking, Price should probably never fight an even "once elite" fighter ever again in his career.

Before predictably being walloped, Price did stagger Povetkin a couple times.

That alone should qualify him for a future high profile fight.

Hucks had a long hard career and has been in his fair share of wars. He should retire. He doesn't need to be taking more punishment.

I think even washed-up Huck would beat Charr, but Povetkin destroys him now.

I was just reading about an opinion that ex-champs from CW and HW are considering coming back after seeing the Joshua/Parker fight. Not sure Marco should be one of them, especially considering his last two bouts with Usyk and Briedis. Maybe he's broke.

Possibly.. I like Huck.. he can still fight name fighters that are lowly ranked..

Huck vs Adamek could possibly be interesting. Though it probably wouldn't bode well for Adamek at this point who is much further gone than Huck.
