I like Zurdo, and I'm not trying to bust his balls but given the level of guys he's been defending against maybe Mayorga can get a crack at him

Didn't Mayorga solemnly announce his retirement about 3 months ago?
Did he have a post-fight announcement about his future plans?
Whether he won or lost this fight to Gomez, I wouldn't doubt Mayorga's still in the title picture.
At the least, maybe he can arrange a catchweight bout with Margarito. A true 2018 classic.
