If he is going to stay in the division and unify, then Jermell Charlo is a good option. It's an interesting match-up, the fight can turn out to be no less exciting, than against Lara.

Only 4 on the list are at 154, and he just beat one of them. Easy to narrow down. I am guessing it will be Charlo.

The Charlo that’s in his weightclass for sure!

Charlo (154) next, and I think he beats him easier than Lara. That one went life and death against Martirosyan, and he's been making his name off of glass-jawed average fighters lately to make him look like a killer.

Hurd-Brook in UK in the undercard for Joshua-Wilder might be extremely lucrative, if Hearns wants it, he will do it.

No way Hearn has that on the undercard..
AJ's undercards are to showcase new talent like Buatsi, Kelly, Cordina etc..
Brook vs. Hurd will have it's own ppv event if Hearns promoting.

Considering that Julian Williams was on the undercard of Lara - Hurd, I have to imagine that he was being maneuvered to fight the winner. So yeah, Julian Williams.

Bar that fight and Crolla, he was just a filler...
That was strategic.. Povetkin was likely going to be AJ'smandatory.. Sooooo, Hearn was kinda introducing him to the casuals and having Price fight him, Hearn knowing that Povetkin would likely stop him.. The casuals will think Povetkin is a real tough opponent for AJ.

Considering that he just fought two tough hombres in Trout and Lara back to back, I wouldn't give him any grief regardless of who he fights next. That being said I hope he fights Jermell Charlo or someone like that.
He's become the man to beat at 154 in pretty short order.

There are only two men to beat left at 154 (Ali doesn't count) and they should fight each other.

I liked Hurd, but I had picked Lara to win a decision. When Hurd won though I didn't care because he made me an instant fan with his effort against Trout, and showed again against Lara that he's a force

Funny that you picked Canelo who barely touched Lara and got outlanded, but not Hurd who was consistently hurting Lara, dropped him, outlanded him, made a mess of his face and never got hurt himself.

Boxing Rocks, excuse me, but you described this match as Lara's debacle. I think that great majority of fans would agree that it was very
competitive, close fight, fan-friendly and attractive.............

I thought Canelo beat Lara, but Hurd did more damage to Lara no question.

Fan friendly, attractive and leaving no doubts about who won it. I wouldn't be surprised if Lara's corner threw in a towel or the ref didn't allow Lara to continue after that KD. He was the only one getting hurt, and this is a pro boxing we are talking about.

So, how do you have Lara beating Hurd then?

I thought Lara won 5 of the first 6 rounds, and I thought he nicked a few of the others which gave him a one point advantage, but Hurd definitely started busted him up down the stretch, and with the knockdown in the 12th he definitely had accumulated a lot of damage on him.
Boxing is scored on a Round by Round system so the scoring of a fight doesn't necessarily always reflect the amount of damage dealt out.

More damage compared to the damage than what Canelo dished?
Lara moved more vs. Canelo, that's how he avoided more punishment.. He stood toe-to-toe for the majority of the Hurd fight, which kinda surprised a lot of people.

There were close rounds in there so I wouldn't disagree with that too much. If you thought Hurd took 2 or 3 of those rounds I can see that. I just didn't see it that way at the time.
I thought Hurd had dealt more damage in the fight, but by the time I got to the end my scorecard still had Lara ahead by 1 due to the good work he'd done earlier.
It happens that way sometimes.
