Fury and Warren

Rumours seem to be doing the rounds that Fury is going to sign with Warren today, with a fight likely to be announced for June 2nd in Manchester with Flanagan v Hooker and Barnett v Clarke II forming part of the undercard.

Anyone else heard something similar? It's obviously been doing the rounds lately however today seems to be the day it's announced

It will obviously be great to hear that Fury's comeback is now a reality. But knowing Warren, no opponent will be announced, but tickets will be on sale tomorrow!!!!

Word is Fury is looking awesome in sparring. Reliable non-bullshitter source. I'd love it if he can hold it together long enough to box Joshua, he'll make him look daft.

This will be a fight by fight deal, surely? Can't see Tyson locking himself into a multi-fight contract.

This will be interesting to follow. Will fury comeback and go into ultra cautious mode that he did after the Cunningham fight or will he be slightly more risky to keep his fans happy.

If he goes into ultra cautious mode, I can see him losing the fan base that his absence has somehow managed to grow quite quickly, even more so if he doesn't fight top names quickly. People are inpatient.

I suspect he will be fighting some around the level of Arnold Gjerjgag, Alex Lepai in his comeback fight before going for a top 20 name.

Forget your years experience and friendships in Manchester gyms, Dirk will be along soon to tell you you’ve dreamed this.

Wonder if he's going to with Mick Hennessy, people excited to see Fury back but must of forgot how boring of a fighter he is inside of the ring. hopefully new trainer will change that.

I disagree. Had he signed with MatchRoom, he would be on the books alongside AJ, Whyte & Chisora. He would have went straight on to the Sky PPV model.

Why can't they line everything up then announce it rather than a half arsed opponent TBC thing. It's going to be someone lame anyway.

Because that would mean he was being organised.

The problem is Matchroom can only accommodate so many schedules, where its fighters want to be top billing. Fury won't be happy appearing on undercards.

Given that sales were sluggish for the Wlad rematch there, this is very ambitious/chuffing deluded.

Sooooo now we shall see if the apparent leap in popularity and interest that has been swirling since the drug problems etc are real and translate into sales.

Only it isn't, but it's a good move for Frank.

Was there any word on TV channel? Didn't see BT Sport's logo or being spoken about.

Surely they won't be happy if Frank has him in the stable but on a allegedly box office deal?
