I would like Parker to face a southpaw before even (theoretically) considering this fight.
He hasn't had any for ages.
Given that, I would expect his chin to hold up for the first 4 rounds, and as Ortiz fades, Parker steps on the gas and forges a decision, perhaps even a KO late.

Luis Ortiz is 39.... He's an old man... If he were a physical fitness addict like Bernard Hopkins, yes.... He would win this.

But he's not... He's got regular middle aged health problems... He takes meds... If he could turn back the clock 2 years he might beat anybody... That's what so frustrating to him... He sat there on the canvas with spit running out of his face onto the floor... He didn't give a crap what anybody thought... He was thinking "SHHHIIIIITTT!!! ... I can't fukking do it anymore."

Parker takes it. Bad style matchup for old man Ortiz.

Ortiz technically better and obviously the much bigger puncher.

Parker looked intimidated by Joshua's punch. It would be the same against Ortiz.

Just because Wilder stopped him, doesn't mean that Ortiz is finished. Wilder stops everyone.

I like this fight a lot. Decision Parker but could see Ortiz testing his chin given the chance. Would also be good to see what Ortiz has left in the tank after his defeat to Wilder

Ortiz, Povetkin, Junlong Zhang, Mansour, Briggs, Pulev, Browne, they all should have been fought ages ago, but some of them still haven't been and the champs at the time are the ones to blame.

Yes, like the Chinese guy and Briggs are worthy of copping title shots.

One of them has fought nothing but the dregs and the other one just talks. Never fights.

I would take Parker by Decision. He's got too much workrate for Ortiz, and Wilder beat him up pretty well. Getting your chin cracked at such an advanced age doesn't do your career any favors.

An awkward southpaw with a pedigree is a tall order for most fighters.
