Despite being unable to put away Raphael Zumbano Love, Wallin has the opportunity to move himself into contention with a STATEMENT type of win. Thoughts?

im not sure beating granat puts wallin quite into world title contention, maybe more like it makes him a more serious prospect then he was. maybe puts him near a euro title shot.

being ktfo in like a minute by faded dimitrenko really diminishes granats standing for the moment imo.

Merely beating him won't. but a STATEMENT win. (something dramatic) would get him way more attention.

hmm, but how much of a statement can he make to the division when faded dimmy ktfo granat as about emphatically as possible? i think more like ppl just say granat was a fraud

none the less still an interesting match, granat trying to get back and shot the loss was a fluke, wallin being considered the lesser of the two swedes for a while and not really proving much, but now having the chance to get a recognizable win

I'm not cheering for either guy here, I like both and want the best man to win. That being said, despite being completely derailed by Dimitrenko, I think Granat is solid and will win. If Wallin wins then I think his stock goes way up.

Nice competitive HW scrap!

Funny, that's what people thought about Badou Jack when he got KtFO by Edwards. Granat winning this will put him back on track again.

funny that youd think granat with 2 big losses to dimmy and wallin and 0 good wins would be at all like jack. if granat losses this hes got very little credibility as being a serious win, so i dont think wallin can make much of a statement. jack came back, got top wins, and hasnt lost in several fights

You need to learn to read. I said that Granat winning this will get him back on track. Jack came back and beat two nobodies after getting humiliated by Edwards. Then he faced Dirrell where everyone thought Jack was going to get humiliated again. Stop trying to rewrite history. You obviously don't follow boxing outside of BoxRec ratings.
