the question is when will howard eastman get his shot at hopkins, Besides Sturm i dont see anyone else more deserving. anyone know how long he has been wbc no. 1?
He should start calling out Hopkins on as many major boxing sites as possible and get his name out there. He has to tell people his situation and call himself the number 2 ranked middle in the world. How long can Hopkins get away with not fighting his number 1 contender?
What he should have done was turn up at the after fight press conference of Oscar/Hopkins with a microphone and start heckling Hopkins from the crowd. Try to steal his thunder. Boxing journos would probably approach him after the incident and ask him what the hell he is doing, then he could start telling them how he's the no.1 contender and claim that Bernard is running from him and only fights people smaller than him. Howard doesn't seem like that kind of character though to do such a thing. Tarver done it to get his shot at Jones.
