Well...well...here we are. Another Sim season.

My BrainTrust is getting off to a decent start at 2-2 against one of our rivals Armageto.

We'll be looking to reignite our rivalry with Crease and BoxBuzz before too long...I never tire of kicking you guys' punk asses

But in the meantime I'm gonna give my fighters a little seasoning, and let them get a little notoriety and prestige attached to their name.

They all already have the prestige of having been drafted into the finest stable in the history of Simdom, but we can do better.

There are plans in the works that will shake The Sim to it's very core, but your puny little minds can't take these revelations just yet. As always The Brain is 10 steps ahead of you chumps. Whatever plan any of you could come up with to succeed this season, I've already thought of it, and probably 5 better plans that you all were too dumb to think of.

I could have picked a lot of women fighters instead of her that I knew were better once I saw you picked Breakhus. I was always against the women division and had no interest in it, but figured I'd manage to give us more active managers.

Hammer's vagina can melt driveway ice in the winter, so even if she goes 0-40, she is still the real winner in sim female boxing....

Crease's #1 is misleading too. He dropped one his guys mid-season and picked up Marvin Hagler. The original pick he had "Nonpareil" Jack Dempsey wasn't doing good under his management...because he sucks.

Marvin Hagler had already been successful under previous management and Crease just wanted to APPEAR to be very good.

We here at the BrainTrust have such a thing called Loyalty to our fighters, and we don't just abandon them mid season because we think the Grass will be greener on the other side.

Crease's numbers are out of whack after picking up a top 10 established Hagler for last sim season. I think I only dropped a guy once, many moons ago. It was too painful to try anymore with them. Even still, I don't think I'd pick up a guy that is rated high or was previously managed in that season. In fact, I said we should leave everybody that is rated too high as an unmanaged fighter. The sim is supposed to be fun, but fair as well. To each their own.

As for all the managers as a whole, Buzz used to be right up there. His last few seasons he has fallen off a bit. Missed some draft picks that he made, missed his turn with others, etc. Too bad we never had a complete total of stats from the managers over the last 4 seasons or so, that would be interesting.

New guys will come to find out the Sim over time, to me, is 40% who you draft, 50% how you manage them, and 10% what the software wants to do. I've been stuck right at the end of 2 of the last 3 drafts (Last pick.... ) and have still done fairly well. I'm not sure, but I have to be right up there for most H.O.F. fighters and champs over the last few seasons. So no matter where you draft, or who you have, you still have a fighting chance if you manage them to their abilities....

Gilg is pulling a Kalan here.....forgetting to mention that I slept through....uh er I was robbed of my #1 draft choice last season...and didn't give much energy to the sim.

Indeed it may well be considered a gap year. A year where "others" were allowed to aspire.

The GoldenBuzz Galaxy of stars is filled with Super Novas who have shined brightly, beginning with Sim Season #1......far before the great deletion. Still having the only undefeated champion in the history of the sim......The Great Collapzo.

GBP is not legendary in any sort of simulated way.....but rather.....is Legend itself.


And....just as the universe itself continues to evolve......so it goes with GBP.......

You and your silly bags, and rag tag bunch of vociferous pustules will achieve little within the simulated community. However just as your name implies, you will likely provide some comic relief as your group is chronically hauled off in the life saving ambulances (provided at no expense to YOU the little guy, underwritten by a generous grant from GBP promotions, in association with the merciful folks at the Red Cross) after each week of fisticuffs unfolds.

I wish I could promise you a brighter future in your new adventure here in the sim.....but it would be unfair to build up your hopes.
