Broner is a world-class clown. It wouldnt surprise me in the least if this filthy thug gets busted some day for being a pedophile.

Anyway I'm rooting for Broner because I think some people want to see him down.

I've always rooted for Broner.

A colorful character with a lot of talent. But doesn't have the mental focus to push himself to another level.

He's changing trainers. Let's see if that motivates him.

Broner is nothing if not a confidence fighter, very much in the Tyson Fury mould. He's constantly fighting paranoia whilst constantly trying to psych himself up. Problem here is that Vargas looks quite a bit bigger and stronger.

Unlike Fury, Broner won't run so this should be a good matchup. Adrien Broner knows this time he's literally fighting inside the ring to keep his fantasy world alive. Outside the ring this would-be Floyd Mayweather Jr seems to be walking on dangerously thin ice.

Whatever Mayweather Jr got up to outside the ring, he always showed great self control inside. Can Broner, just for once, do the same?

He knows how to sell himself.

I think it's a pick'em fight.

Talk don't win fights for you. Vargas is a more professional fighter, and he takes himself and his craft more seriously. He's gonna beat Broner tomorrow night.

Nobody in the sports history has had an easier road to being a 4 weight World Champion so the sport ain't keeping him down too badly I'd say.

I'm seldom bored by an Adrien Broner fight (though the last time out against Mikey Garcia was pretty meh), but he's definitely difficult to like outside of the ring, and you don't ever stop hearing about him or his bullsh*t either.

He has the natural gifts of speed, athleticism and reasonable power to succeed. Also he can take a punch alright...his defense certainly ain't what he imagines it to be though.

His biggest problem is the low IQ he shows outside of the ring, is pretty much about where his RIng IQ is as well. He seems to have one plan in all of his fights these days.

Go out there, throw one shot at a time, try to mug for the camera, try to act like you're not losing even when you are, occasional flashes of offense, but long spells of inactivity on the ropes.

I suspect this is the same thing we'll see tomorrow, and Vargas will outhustle him.

I agree, but Broner's got more to lose. Really up against it, and Vargas looks confident. Nothing in it at the weigh in (144AB/143.75JV).

A loss certainly wouldn't be doing Vargas' career any favors either. Both fighters are basically fighting to remain relevant contenders here. A loss drops them down to more of a stepping stone/fringe contender level.

I don't really see why you would. Neither Vargas or Broner are really in a position that anybody would be looking to "protect" them by awarding them an unjust decision. I think at this point Broner's on his own when it comes to success, I don't expect he'll get any favors from judges or decisions he doesn't deserve.

No reason to believe Vargas will get any decisions he doesn't deserve either. Hell remember he was cheated out of his last 10 seconds to finish Tim Bradley whom he had badly hurt due to a ref's error.

You've got a point. His headliner status is far above his fistic ability.

To call that bum a lowlife would be a gross insult to lowlives. More beard crap too. Are they going to allow that? Boxingsinks lower and lower.

It's really popular to be a black thug now. And when one does something criminal like trying to run down a cop with his car and gets shot by the cops, then his homies whine about "police brutality"

or roams through a mall threatening people with a knife and gets smoked by cops it's all about "my poor baby" :verysad:

I have that feeling that the scorecards won't refelect the reality. Broner may get jobbed.

Broner's meltdown is a good indication that we may be in for something shady tonight. Broner is out of lives and a loss against Vargas will surely mean that Broner's not worth seeing any longer. I can see Broner doing something really silly tonight either inside the ring or outside.

Broner has sure fallen hard and far since being Floyd's "little bro" and his goal of billions. It probably is all hitting him at once now with Mayweather Promotions co-promoting the event because of G.Davis.

Probably. A DQ or a fault simulation ?

I don't see what would be in it for anybody to job either one of 'em here. I think this fight will be conducted on the level because I truly don't think it benefits anybody to run the risk of any shenanigans on a fight like this.

Maybe Broner upset some people and they want to see him out of the big stage of boxing.

I would think his controversial nature is probably easier to sell than Vargas would be. So if anything they'd want Broner to win, I just don't figure they'll be pulling any strings for him to make that happen. He'll have to do the work himself.
