Vargas' more aggressive nature might allow him to take it about 7-5 with the judges.
Broner gave away the first 4. Broner came on but didn't push the action the last two rounds when he needed to.

9-3 Broner.

Not sure how anyone could score tgat for Vargas. He won a few rounds on workrate but his quality was inferior. Broner was far more accurate, kanded left hooks and counter-rights at will. Hurt Vargas and messed up his face. Clear winner.

Too many of them. I could accept a draw. But not how I saw it. 9-3 is absurd.

You don't know wtf you are watching. I dislike Broner as much as the next guy but he gave Vargas a lesson. Faster hands. More effective punches. What did Varhas do? Demonstrate ineffective aggression? Gtfo.

I didn't think it. He obviously won to anyone that isn't insanely stupid. The "ineffective aggression" line is hilarious, though. You'd be a pretty solid troll if it wasn't so obvious that you're mentally handicapped.

I thought Vargas won it yeah. I don't think a draw was unreasonable, but a draw is the best case scenario for Broner IMO. Don't see how you could have him winning.

Vargas body shots didn't go unnoticed, that said Broner took them well and didn't seem to show any signs of weakness.
Broner's stamina was excellent, yes he got lazy at times but looked in control of himself whereas Vargas lost his shape and looked raggedy during the bout.
There were no 10-8 rounds.
Broner was peppering Vargas with head shots throughout the fight, Vargas was game and scored with winging home run shot type of punches.
Close fight but Broner showed more quality and accuracy to win me over.

A draw is how I scored it so I have no problem with the judges here.

Vargas mostly took the first half over a listless Broner. Broner took it to a fatigued Vargas in the second half.

The scores here seem to be all over the place. That usually means that a draw is the right decision.

Since these 2 guys aren't true title contenders, a rematch might be the right way to go.

Very good fight from two welters who were well matched.

Broner showed flashes of his form from years back. He just needs to let his hands go and he's still an impressive fighter.

But the Maidana fight has made him somewhat gun shy.

Reminds me of Camacho after the Rosario fight. He was never the same.
