Mike Stewart has never been stopped in 40 fights, though, as we know, he came perilously close to it a couple of times against Sharmba Mitchell. But there's no doubt he's tough and game and capable.

But as always the MEN arena will be packed full and when he wins they'll be chanting his name like he's just KO'd Cotto or something. No - I will be impressed if he does. Remember Vilches, stopped easily by Mitchell (every time he landed flush he fell), didn't look close to getting stopped by Hatton.

Hatton's power at the higher level is overated, although I can see him winning by a shut out and hurting Stewart, but he'll have to be alot better than he was vs Vilches.

Stewart I think could be Hatton's second best opponent (next to Magee), Phillips and Tackie were to worn at that stage (in hindsight).

Stewart's chances are very underated. He won't win, but I found him at 10-1 for the win, and considering Hague was 6-1 against Froch that is a good price.

Stewart is a decent fighter, mitchell just was the wrong style.....he beat Robinson for example...

If Hatton stops him it will be a massive statement on the world stage, Mitchell couldn't stop him after all...Sorry just getting the spin machine warmed up :P

Yep, even if Hatton puts on a devastating display and stops Stewart, we've already seen him over here get 'exposed'. He's damaged goods. If you imagine Hatton and Sharmba in a race, with Stewart as the finish line - Mitchell already won. Stewart, as we all saw, was outclassed by Sharmba last time out, he blatantly looks to be a level below the top guns. With a guy like that it's basically who gets to him first that recieves the kudos. Hatton beating him up is completely frivolous.

It's like Paula Radcliffe going over to Greece right now, running the marathon route and breaking the real winner's time. Great, but who cares? The time when it meant something has passed. There is no tension or any sense of a competative edge to the fight - which is why real boxing fans don't care anymore. Boxing at this level is all about timing, and Hatton/Warren's timing makes these types of fights (potentially good fights) so meaningless you feel like banging your head against a brick wall.

I'll still watch it since its free, though.
