Devin Haney is highly touted with solid amateur credentials, but he hasnt really fought anyone notable as a pro. That will change on 5/11 when Devin takes a huge step up against 33-2 veteran Mason Menard.
Here's some highlights of Haney:

Here's video of one of their amateur clashes in 2014. It was actually pretty close.

Coming on the heels of former amateur rival Ryan Garcia's step up on ESPN vs Jayson Velez, it will be interesting to see how Haney does against 33-2 Mason Menard on Friday May 11.
Haney is a few months younger than Garcia but turned pro about 6 months before. He's 18-0 and usually fights in the high 130s, so dont expect them to face off as pros any time in the near future.
Haney's amateur credentials are more impressive than Garcia's and the last 2 times Devin won national amateur tourneys he beat Garcia both times.

menard is more dangerous a puncher then velez, though not sure if as tough, will be interesting

Menard is not quite as accomplished as Velez BUT he is a career-long lightweight who has not moved up in weight like Velez has. And as you mention he does pack some pop. Could make for a more exciting fight come Friday night.

Good highlight video above of Haney as a pro and video of one of the 6 amateur bouts between Haney and Ryan Garcia. They each won 3 of their 6 bouts as ams.
Highly doubtful they'll meet as pros any time soon because Haney is a full-blown LW and Garcia has no trouble making 130.
