Michael Nunn was always scum.

Selling coke to an undercover agent was only the tip of the iceberg with him.

He had a history of drug trafficking and other criminal offenses, which undoubtedly contributed to his lengthy sentence.

Let Nunn out of prison, re-acquaint him with his hell-raising Davenport homies, and it won't be long before the born-again Muslim lands back behind bars.

Nothing comes close to nuking Kalambay in one round, IMO:

He was also outstanding against the previously unbeaten Frank Tate in winning the IBF middleweight title in 1988. He really bullied Tate and eventually broke him with body shots. "You've never been a quitter in your life," Jesse Reid screamed at Tate in the corner at the end of the eighth round, and it was obvious that Tate wanted out. He was stopped in the opening seconds of the ninth.

nunn was one of my favourites back in the day. was a joy to watch and had talent to burn. id argue that he was possibly Toneys greatest win.

I would agree. That was a major upset, in front of Nunn's own fans. I've not watched it since but Nunn was well up on the cards at the time he got splattered as I recall.

Didn't he get a bit lazy after his loss to Toney? I seem to remember him struggling with some Panamanian fella(Cordoba?) and then losing to Steve Little.

tate was being tipped as the future of the division and nunn broke him.

His KO of Parker is a beaut. Picture perfect uppercut. He did have about half a foot on him though.
