What if the Floyd of the Gatti fight fought 2009-2011 Khan? Would that Floyd have enough power to hurt Khan?

Any version of Floyd would have the power to hurt Khan. Floyd's no power puncher, but we're talking about Khan here. Accuracy, and hitting him on the chin...which Floyd would certainly do would probably hurt him. If not immediately, somewhere over the course of the fight.

Floyd all the way. He would have outboxed Khan with a big probability of knocking him out in the result.

Floyd at 140 would have disposed of Khan far easier than he did Ricky Hatton at that weight!! :OhYes:

aside from Tszyu, only guy i remember that might have given Floyd some trouble at super lightweight was Vivian Harris, who was hyped up as the next coming of Hearns of 140.

mainly because he was a tall, rangy, athletic fighter with good power, and was trained by Emmanuel Steward.

but the guy had even worst discipline than Judah.

Floyd probly KO's Khan at any points of their careers, especially the version that fought Gatti.

Khan has a better chance of surviving and giving Floyd some problems at 147 though.

When Khan was constantly calling Mayweather out two or three years ago, I’d have given him maybe a 20% chance purely because of his speed, but I think ultimately Floyd would catch him as Alvarez did...

Is there anything Khan has done in his career, when stacked up against Mayweather's resume, that should make anyone think he would be successful against Money?

Mayweather easily had the power to stop the weak chinned Khan.

Brittle hands and a cautious mentality kept Mayweather from racking up more KOs.

But if he was intent on a stoppage, Mayweather would have put Khan away.

Tszyu, the Judah version, would’ve been a hell of a fight at 140.

Vivian Harris was not in the same league.

Mayweather was so fast at 140, he would’ve boxed Khans ears off and stopped him.
