First Fight You Can Remember?

I can kind of remember my dad and mam having folk in for boxing when I was really young! I can't really remember anything that vivid until the Eubank v Benn fight in 1990 (I think) when I was like 6! I actually remember being allowed to stay up and Eubank eventually winning! Also remember the rematch and a few random fights inbetween that! My dad taking me to gym as well! Also remember my mum arguing with him because of it
Anyway, what's your first proper boxing memory?

Lennox Lewis vs Tommy Morrison at my Aunt and Uncle's house.
I remember it because of them telling me "That's the guy from Rocky 5"...and then of course he got his ass kicked.
It would be another 5 or 6 years or so before I got into Boxing regularly, but recognizing the name "Lennox Lewis" played a big part in that.
I had read in a Sports Paper that Lennox had "Regained the Heavyweight Title"...and I thought to myself "Hey I'll be damned, that guy I saw years ago is still at it"...I watched the fight, and have been following regularly ever since.

I remember in the 90s my mum going in to John Menzies (magazine, cd, stationary type of shop) and me getting my boxing monthly (I think) and there was this generic sports magazine but they had a top 20 p4p in the world on the cover! I got it and I was engrossed in it! It was the first time I'd really taken notice of B-Hop, Felix Trinidad, RJJ, ODLH, Ricardo Lopez and loads more etc.... Couldn't see the fights at the time but always kept an eye on these guys who were on this list! Watched their fights later on! A top era for boxing that hasn't been replicated in my lifetime!

Funnily enough the first fight I remember was the Eubank/Benn rematch and my dad raging Benn only got a draw, he used to watch tv lying on the floor on his front and by the end of the fight his elbows were all carpet burns from throwing the shots with both men
When I watched it again a few years ago it was nowhere near as exciting as i'd remembered it, the 1st fight was a cracker though

Jesse Valdez in the 1972 Munich Olympics. If memory serves correctly, it was the first Olympics with the white scoring color on the gloves. Valdez was super fast and I loved his jab, so the gloves accentuated that.

Ali/Bugner.
I might have seen one or two fights before that. I remember it because we went down the street to a neighbours to watch it in colour
Full house crammed in to watch a 3 foot square television with a 14" screen

Everyone just gets in to it and forgets what it is

I remember everyone in my house arguing over Benn v Eubank 2nd time! I didn't really care who won at the time but I was more of a fan of Eubank because of the cockiness etc.... I remember making a point of watching it later and being pissed off Benn got stiffed!

Ali Foreman. I was six. My family, on my mum's side, loved boxing so we'd have parties that coincided with big fights. I don't remember if we watched it though. Or listened on the radio. Or neither.
Also remember John Conteh, John H Stracey, Jim Watt winning titles. Bruno turning pro.
Was also very excited when Ali beat Neon Leon as it was my 10th birthday party.

When I saw the thread title and Stuarty start off with "I can kind of remember my dad and mam..." I thought we were in for a hell of a story.
