Who taught you?

Who on this site have you learned the most from since you began coming to boxrec?
It's hard to limit it to just one name, there are many and they are from many different places. But if pressed I would say Lackeos for me. I don't think it's only about knowledge either. Disposition, striving for and maintaining a balanced view, he set a good example.

Depends on the subject I suppose.
I probably have a much nicer disposition toward people of other Religious beliefs than me due to my close bond with DetroitHxC, and he also guided me into the Sim, and showed me the ropes of how to compete in that. I've since paid it forward to another newcomer in the Sim.
Saadoffthedeck taught me a lot about Classic Boxing, and suggested many a classic fight that I probably wouldn't have seen if not for his suggestion.
I'm sure there's been several little tidbits of information I've gotten from all kinds of members that I wouldn't have otherwise known about if not for the suggestion, but these have been too many to count, or even remember.

Nothing against most of the posters here, but 80% of the good ones are gone. This site used to have a lot of knowledge about the sport. A decade ago, I could log on and learn something new just about every day. Even the trolls were good! Now it's just posters that have racist/nationalistic views, people that like to start internet beef, or posters who have zero idea on what they are talking about.
Don't get me wrong, there are still some good posters, but the bad posters are in high abundance from say, 5-10 years ago. Thus I mainly just stay to play the Sim and the pick'em game these days and don't post as much as I once did.

Which is a shame for all of us good posters that still remain. That being said I appreciate having you around as a Sim Rival.

Me too
I have limited internet access and a small data allowance, so having those legends putting up links in the relevant threads saves me heaps of data if I'm interested in a particular fighter or related info.
I really get a lot out of this forum from those guys and others who are personally involved in professional boxing who take the time to post- I thank you too

I have seen many good posters come and go.
There is only one that I actually miss... Conan_the_cribber. Guy had interesting view of the world and really intelligent posts.
