WBSS Season 2 - Bantamweight

As expected, the first division announced for Season 2 of the WBSS is Bantamweight.
The first fighters to sign up are:
1. Ryan Burnett (19-0, 9 KOs) WBA 'Super' Champion.
2. Zolani Tete (27-3, 21 KOs) WBO Champion.
3. Emmanuel Rodriguez (18-0, 12 KOs) IBF Champion.
Thoughts?
It's a good start IMO. I've listed the fighters as the WBSS did on their Twitter so I imagine Burnett is the #1 seed, Tete #2 and Rodriguez #3. With just the 3 fighters officially announced so far, who else would you like to see involved?
The WBC title is currently vacant and will be contested by Thailand's Tassana Sanpattan (41-0, 31 KOs) and Nordine Oubaali (14-0, 11 KOs) of France on the 23rd of June. If they were to start Season 2 in September after the finals of Season 1 have been fought then they should be ready.
Hopefully the winner of Inoue-McDonnell also gets added. To be honest I wouldn't even mind seeing the loser involved as well. The potential of Inoue as an unseeded fighter would be a scary prospect for any of the champions.
Any chance we see Rigo? Payano? Solis?
Who is your early favourite?

Rigo is super bantamweight. His manager did say he could easily drop down to bant.. hmm.. I wouldn't mind that.

I have no doubt he could make Bantamweight. I think he's been a Bantam all along to be honest but has looked north for bigger fights and bigger pay days. Now the Bantamweights are getting this opportunity I'd like to see him drop down and see what he has left.

Just saw a bit of the presser, these tournaments are the best thing to happen to boxing for a long time.

It's a good start with 3 of the 4 main belt holders signed up already. With them signed up first it should encourage the top contenders to get on board as the winner could end up being unified champion

Pity Inoue hasn't signed up. Has he moved up yet actually? I know it was on the cards.

To be pedantic, it actually has all current main belt holders signed up, but only 3 of the 4 main belts signed up

Rigondeaux was invited to join the bantamweight WBSS tournament, but turned it down as a doctor advised him not to cut that much weight.

Thanks Toby, didn't realise the other belt was vacant though it will likely be held by the time the tournament starts.

That's good. At least we're getting good names. The 168'ers so far have been the only let downs so far.

Haven't seen any myself. Think they might find eager volunteers a bit harder to come by after Inoue's performance today.

Not sure why anyone would have assumed Takuma would have been involved...
Naoya has signed up
Sounds like one of the Moloney brothers is in
Probably the winner of the WBC title fight
So there's 6
