In his book "Welcome to the big time" Earnie Shavers writes:
My last fight that year (1969) was a four-round decision win against Bill Wilson on december 27th. With that, I had gone a total of 20 rounds in eight fights in seven weeks"

This fight is not on Shavers official record. (Boxrec and his own book shows only seven fights, the last one on december 26th)

Anyone knows anything?

I looked at that book the other day.
Shavers says in the chapter that he fought "20 rounds in 8 fights in seven weeks in 1969."
But only seven names and seven fights are listed in the appendix of his ring career at the back of the book.
also I noticed 2 of the dates were off (by one day) in what was written and what is listed in the appendix.
there is a gap of 2 weeks between fights in late November 1969.
maybe it was an exhibition ?
whoever it was obviosly only lasted 2 rounds.

maybe someone here could ask Earnie Shavers about it ?
