Who do you see winning if this happens?

dunno, would like him to fight the wbss winner rather then trying to bring up lhws though

I was thinking this is the only loss in his record that hasn't been dealt with. Beat Adonis and retire as a happy man.

Bellew was clearly drained, so I'd like to see it again at cruiser, but would that be fair on Adonis then as he ain't the tallest LH?
It should be his farewell fight at Goodison next summer, after he's had his big cashout fights.
End his career avenging the loss...

bellew looked intimidated and gun shy from the start, im not sure him having to make lhw made a huge difference. think he was just in there with an elite puncher in there prime and couldnt cut it at that level. i dont think hes subsquently beaten anyone who at the time was as good as stevenson was. actually the fight was similar to the first 5 rounds of the haye I fight, where bellew was shelled up and looked timid, only stevenson lowered the boom in the 6th rather then blowing his leg out
but if stevensons going to be cherry picked and brought up to cruiser as a 40+ year old, maybe coming off a loss to jack, maybe the tables will turn. but i dont like this ward/stevenson stuff, give us a fight vs the undisputed cruiser champ who has your old belt! theres more glory in that then beating one of the other two.

Both the WBSS finalists would crush Bellew. Have some compassion Jammy
Avenging losses is what used to make good boxers great. I'm all for that.

If in Britain at the end of this year, would you consider it a 50/50 fight? Assuming Stevenson beats Jack.

Depends on how Stevenson looks against Jack. Adonis has only completed six rounds in over three years.
He also doesn't like to travel. I can't see this fight happening at all.

I'd take Bellew. Haye, as depleted as he was, was a hard dude! Bellew blew him away man! He deserves his props!

Haye was fragile.

If Stevenson doesn't take Badou out early then it'll likely be a tough, tough fight for him. Maybe even the kind of fight that, at 40 years old, doesn't allow him to get back to his devastating best. He'd be 41 by the time he'd potentially fight Bellew again. Say the Jack fight goes 12 hard rounds, a 41 year old who has just been the distance with Badou Jack (win or lose) may well be there for the taking.
That doesn't mean I'd definitely be picking Bellew over him, by the way.

He's a tough guy though. Bellew done a number on him. I don't particularly like the guy but credit where credit is due.

To be fair, Adonis was a beast at the time but Bellew wasn't super gunshy, just cautious (and rightly so). He opened up at times and threw some nice combos. I mean, he bloody floored him (that was a KD!) and after moved in for a stoppage. Adonis' sharp heavy counter punching was the difference is the end

Adonis saying he'll come to the UK for a catchweight..
Looking for that payday eh.
Title or not, if Bellew can beat Adonis, then he would have beaten everyone who has stepped into the ring with him. Just like Lennox Lewis.

Smoke and mirrors.
Bellew might as well call out Lennox come to think of it, win that and he’s Nritains greatest ever p4p.
Actually, give Lennox six months and I reckon he’d win

He always looked like that. I don't think he beats Adonis now. I don't think Adonis is shot.

Yeah Ovil had him down heavy didn't he? Just thinking that Bellew looks pretty decent at cruiser and Adonis isn't getting any younger. Isn't he 40 now?
