ATTENTION: Goldenboy Promotions
Re: Breach of Contract

I have a three-year contract with one of the boxers you have scheduled to fight on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino.

The fighter’s name was given by telephone to Goldenboy Promotions’ Young Bin on May 9th, 2018, and this situation was explained. A copy of the three-year management was sent to you by email on May 10th (rdiaz@goldenboypromotions).

The management contract with the fighter was signed August 28, 2017. The signed, three-year contract was approved by - and registered with - the Korean boxing commission: Korean Boxing Management.

Please check your phone messages and emails for my numerous attempts to notify you of this situation.

I have yet to receive a reply.

To be clear, I have not approved the May 12, 2018 fight for my fighter, with whom I have a three-year management contract with. As such, I wish this fight to be cancelled.

I spoke with Commissioner Dan Gustafson, from the Oneida Gaming Commission, on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018. I also emailed him a copy of the three-year management contract. To be thorough, I faxed him a copy as well. He assured me that he would inform Goldenboy Promotions of this matter.

Goldenboy Promotions has now been notified by phone, email and Boxrec Public Boxing Forum of this breach of contract. The Oneida Gaming Commissioner has also assured me that you will be made aware of this breach of contract.

There is no excuse for Goldenboy Promotions to be complicit in this breach of legal contract.

Your prompt email reply will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Joe Pineault
