Agreed...a competitive bout but I've got Garcia winning a close but clearcut decision.

I'm not so sure at this point. Love Garcia, but Lomancheko looks pretty damn good. Don't think Mikey can take body shots like Loma delivers.

I love Mikey, but IDK. It's the fight that needs to happen.

Note that Loma is trying to be fan friendly. He could dance around Linares touching him, but he knows what people want to see.

Tank is not mentally strong enough to beat Loma. He's another one like Judah and Broner. A ton of talent but not straight upstairs.

He was trying to hurt Linares from the beginning and by round 4 got overly confident and got punished. He is fully capable to not get hit much, but he is deliberately taking risk to be fan friendly and attractive to TV networks.

That's what SRR used to do to drum up more interest in his fights. That's why so many rematches. According to my dad and my Uncle, circa 1960's.

Loma is a very good fighter. but he is not the monster he has been made out to be. he is a top 10 P4P but he is not Crawford. of course that is just my opinion.

I actually became more of a fan of Lomachenko tonight. He is pretty much what I believed he was despite the unrealistic hype surrounding hims and all the G.O.A.T talk. He is a very good fighter, although he has his limits and 135 is his limit when it comes to his weight. I believe Mikey would knock him out, but other than Mikey, Lomachenko beats anyone else from 135 and lower and most relatively easily. I would still love to see Mikey go back down to 135 and find out, because that is a cracking fight.

Tank might be able to trouble Lomachenko if Lomachenko has a defensive lapse like he did tonight, but I'm pretty sure Lomachenko learned his lesson, he gets a bit too over confident and sloppy at times, something he can't do against a monster puncher like Tank. But akill wise I don't think Tank can hang with him.

Mikey Garcia has the style but does he have the willingness to go all out for 12 should that be the need ?
Knowing the Mexicans I think he will.
I'll find it hard to believe the Mexicans won't be thinking of giving rounds up and letting the scorecards get beyond them, they'll know and prepare for that.

Lomachenko is pretty much a career-SFW, at most, fighting against bigger guys at LW. Lomachenko at 135 is like Crawford fighting at 154. Lomachenko and Mikey are the two p4p contemporaries currently.

Winner of Mikey/Lomachenko will easily be p4p #1 in my book, with no one coming close.

Is Lomachenko willing to go through Garcia's fire is just as big of a question. Garcia is the bigger man and is a bigger, more precise puncher and counter puncher than Linares.

I also believe Garcia is tough as nails, I've never once seen him show any type of quit in him. Same with Lomachenko, neither guy comes off as someone who is going to quit.

Garcia’s a great fighter and lovely to watch. Wondering if he has the speed to beat lomachenko. Linares did well with super fast combos...I see Garcia’s as more of a measured precise power puncher..doesn’t let his hands go as freely as linares would.

Anyway would love to watch it...clearly Garcia has the power factor over both loma and linares.

I agree with what you're saying to a degree. But when Garcia starts to touch Lomachenko with precise counters, will Lomachenko himself tread more lighly on the offense? Normally when fighters move up in weight their offense drops because they focus more on their defense. There are exceptions, but Garcia is a special fighter as well.

I still believe Lomachenko is a fantastic fighter. I don't believe he's quite what some have claimed he is and never have.

He is better than Floyd though.

Loma is still my P4P #1. I hope he goes back down to 130 though. 135 seems a bit too big and I can't see 140 being feasible currently for him.

He did get dropped, but showed the grit to get back up and get the stoppage against the bigger man, who "might" have had help fight night. I applaud Loma for trying to find the best guys in divisions to beat, but I rather see him move back down, than to lose just because of a size difference.

My opinion on him remains the same, great fighter.....
