Can someone help me by explaining how I can insert an image into a post as APerno has done here?

I have quite a lot of interesting stuff I could put up

The image needs to be hosted somewhere online (so that it has a URL).

You then paste the URL between the image tags [img] you can get them by pressing the little photo icon above the smiley faces.

Then if you preview your post you’ll see if it has worked.
