Looks like Hughie is likely to vacate and the Board will possibly fanny around for a year or so before getting two fighters to agree to fight for it.
The English heavyweight title has not been fought for in over 5 years. The Board don't seem to care at all about keeping their titles active.

It's almost been a year since Skeete defended the title though, so why has it taken the Board so long to make an eliminator?
How long is this elimination tournament going to take (if that's what this is) and how likely is it that someone pulls out?
The winner of the tournament would have more credibility than Skeete does at the moment, so hopefully the fights go ahead.
