Ohara Davies has unfinished business with Josh Taylor; I’d take the winner of Taylor-Postol’s head off

Ohara Davies has suffered one career loss at the hands of Scotsman, Josh Taylor. Taylor produced a sublime display and won the fight by TKO in round 7. Davies touched the canvas in round three and round seven.

I don't think he wins against Taylor especially with being out the ring for seven months. I think he needs a few tough learning fights as Taylor looked a level above when they last met, but its a fight that could happen in the future.

Taylor's next fight is against the world #7, Davies next fight is against the feather fisted world #139 scary stuff.
There was a gap shown when Taylor fought Davies which has now developed into a trench.
Even if Taylor loses to Postol, he still beats Davies.

He'd get a worse beating next time round if it ever happens again!

I think Taylor will stop Postol and be a world champion by the end of the year. O'Hara will still be fighting scrubs......

I think Davies is decent, but he wasn't in Tayor's league and will probably never be.

Maybe if Taylor gets attacked by a shark on holiday and has an arm torn off they could look to make the rematch as it would be a bit more competitive than their last fight.

But most people would probably still have Taylor favourite.

Davies is now being trained Carlos Moreno, i see the pads they do and i can't see how his improving Davies. His made a big mistake by employing someone whose so inexperienced

No I most certainly do not. He's already failed at the domestic level. I don't doubt there are at least 10 or 15 guys at 140 that can beat him, and even a few at 135 that could move up and beat him.

Davies is fvcking miles away from the big boys at 140, and always will be.

I got permission from the CheckHookBoxing owner and I've only every posted 3/4 articles over there.

And as far as I'm aware from the days of Ian McInally, you were allowed to share your work on the Boxrec forum as long as you don't take the piss and post every single article you write. Unless the rules have changed?

It seems more like an extension of your last Ohara Davies article.

If he was more of a significant fighter then it might not have stood out so much, but he's just an English title level fighter and he's spouting garbage two days in a row with seperate threads.

No you didn't break any rules. It's just sorta spamming.

Davies can't beat anybody in the Top 10 at 140 IMO, so who he THINKS he could beat don't impress me much until he can actually get in the ring and back it up.

I enjoyed your interview with Josh Taylor, and would not have come across it had you not posted a link on this site. Some UK boxers most fans find endearing, and some just grind the proverbial gears. Davies is of the latter group.
You can't please everyone, but that's life

Catterall and Davies are a country mile behind Josh Taylor. Catterall career seems to be fairly risk averse and it’s easy to lose interest. He has no opponent for Saturday (yet talk of a world title fight) whist Taylor is taking on a top level fighter in Victor Postol - says it all really. Ohara Davies I don’t rate though acknowledge he can pinch a bit. Can’t see him doing anything in the sport,

He's got fcuking no chance of beating Taylor
