BBBoC Managers License

Need some help. I’m looking to get a BBBoC managers license. Looking at their website it states you need a license in another capacity for at least 3 years to apply.
I currently don’t have a license in another capacity.
What’s the best route to go down?

Get a cornermans/seconds licence. Do that for three years in a row. Then apply.

Or get a promotors licence for 3 years

A promotors license is also quite difficult to obtain with no prior involvement in pro boxing

Oh really?
How long ago did you first get your promotors license?

It’s quite easy to get a promotors licence if you study the green book also there’s plenty of seconds/trainers etc and the board welcome new promotors with open arms coz without promotors there is no boxing

What is the motivation for wanting to get a managers license anyway?

Couple of lads asked me if I could manage them professionally.
Said I’d look into it.
Probably go down the seconds route first.

I would go that route. It saves you having to lose a bomb on any promotions!

Where are you based?

Ah okay.
Its a long process if the BBBoC insist that you have to follow the rules, though its clear that isn't always the case so perhaps worth consulting the area council.
Are they still amateurs as of now?

Mixture of amateur and pros mate.
They’ve been asking me for a while. Should of looked into it sooner.
