So Milas is stepping up to fight Pianeta (although not too much), a decent journeyman who is cagey but with little power. My feeling is that this is a key indicator fight in Milas' career as if he could make a decent statement, he can move up his next fight to a more challenging name fighter. Should give us a better idea of this kids' makeup. I'm not very high on Milos but he deserves a "look see."

Not familiar with Milas, but if he can get past Kevin Johnson I don't see any reason he couldn't beat Pianeta who I see as basically the same level as Johnson.

Yeah, the Pianeta Johnson fight was a bit of a surprise. Any Johnson win is a surprise anyway. I like this fight for optics on Milas. He is only 22 but I think he's ready for something better than Francisco.

I think Milas's win over KJ was misleading, because in that fight, they headbutted each other so hard that it f*cked both fighters up. Anyone could potentially pull out a fluke victory after that. However, if Milas doesn't belong in the ring with Pianeta, then he didn't belong in the ring with KJ, because KJ and Pianeta are of a pretty similar caliber.
