Yes, we agree, after the savage beating Jirov was giving Wamba in this fight, and the two preceding, he decided to cut himself to show mercy and that he is no murderer. It was devastating to take a loss against a guy so clearly mismatched by an incompetent manager, but it had to be done. He had nearly killed the guy.

Which is why we are moving on and King Vassiliy wishes Wamba well in his recovery from the merciless beatings he took up to that point.

We accept your resignation as the clear loser in this rivalry, and thank you for stepping up with such an inferior fighter.

He did so by getting beaten to edge of being among the living, King Vassiliy refused to end a man's life in the ring. He has too much respect for the sport.
